The consensus of opinion in the land of Goshen is the Warriors are much happier and more successful in the Southern Buckeye Conference.

Goshen, after a 19-year membership in the Fort Ancient Valley Conference (FAVC), joined the Southern Buckeye Conference (SBC) beginning with the 2005-06 school year.

When Goshen left the old Clermont County League following the 1985-86 school year and entered the FAVC, it was compatible with the other conference members enrollment-wise. After 1990, larger schools began to join the expanding FAVC until Goshen became the member with the least number of students.

Now, one year into SBC competition, the Warriors are in the American Division which is the big school division of that conference.
