Milford Amateur Radio Club holds 16th annual Hamfest

The Milford Amateur Radio Club held its sixteenth annual Hamfest at the Milford Eastside Christian Church on Saturday, June 17.

Attended by more than 400 people, the Hamfest is a nationwide event that attracts people who have varying degrees and levels of interest in radios, electronics, computers, and all of their countless components. More than 50 vendors had set up booths with assorted available items for sale.

What is common among radio hams and radio clubs are these hamfests, said event coordinator Jim Linn. Ham is the term for anyone with an interest in amateur radio.
