Trustees approve tax abatements

June 15th, 2006    Author: Rodney Beckwith    Filed Under: News

Two innovative businesses with national clientele each asked for and were granted tax abatement requests to locate their central offices in Batavia Township at the June 6 township meeting.

Cutting Edge Services and Records Express both presented their business plans and other operational procedures to the trustees, who deemed their business models a good fit for the township.

Tim Beckman, owner of Cutting Edge Services, said that the move to ground near the Clermont County Airport will allow him to expand his services to include some light manufacturing and on-site demonstrations. His business is designed, literally, to help take a bite out of large constructed objects that really need to be in smaller pieces.
