Two of the best of the athletes from the Clermont Northeastern High School class of 2006 have committed themselves to the college of their choice.

Megan Messinger and Jesse Meadors have signed letters-of-intent to continue their respective educations and athletic careers.

Messinger, the daughter of Bill and Donna Messinger, comes from a talented athletic background. Her dad was a standout baseball player at Amelia High School and her mom was a star in several sports during her days at CNE.

Megan earned seven varsity letters

On hand for the collegiate letters-of-intent signings of Jesse Meadors and Megan Messinger (seated on either side of coach Jason Kreimer) are, row two standing, from left, Casey Waldman, Ryan Whitecotton, Emily Kozlowski, and Morgan Ross, and in back, Josh Noland and John Kibler. Each of the six are classmates of the signees.
