David Hunter has taken a seat on the Milford City Council.

The seat, which was left vacant by resignation of Shannon Reynolds in May, received approximately 11 applications.

The four finalists addressed Council at its June 6 meeting and Hunter was sworn in after a secret ballot determined that he had received the majority of votes.

According to Mayor Lou Bishop, the quality of the respondees was incredibly high.
