Elementary school children from various West Clermont schools visited the county courthouse last week as part of an interactive tour of the facility. The tour is designed to help kids understand the justice system a little better.

On May 10, three classes from Clough Pike Elementary swarmed the courtroom of Common Pleas Judge Jerry McBride, who talked with the students at length about the court and answered questions posed by the inquisitive youngsters.

The tour, said McBride, is a long-running tradition at the courthouse.
