A long lull in large zoning hearings ended last week when the Batavia Township Board of Trustees reviewed and denied a planned development case that would have added nearly 60 condominiums to the township.
That development, known as Winnbury Estates, would have been located behind the Bayberry Crossings apartment development, which is also owned and operated by the applicants, Capital Investment Group. The plan was to develop a portion of land located north of the apartment complex on SR 125 and Laub Road.
