Janis Bernice Rose, 67, of Bethel, died April 9. She was born on May 16, 1938, in Somerset, Ky.

She was preceded in death by her mother Zella Mae Pittman.

She is survived by daughters, Teresa and Lisa; sons, John and David; sons-in-law, Daryl and Michael; brother, Paul; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on April 13 at the Kennedy-Stevens Funeral Home. Burial immediately followed at the Tate Township Cemetery in Bethel.
