William Carl Merkle, 93, of Williamsburg, died April 4. He was a Navy WWII veteran.

He is survived by wife, Wanda; three children; four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

The funeral services will be at the convenience of the family and burial will be at the Beverly National Cemetery in Beverly, NJ.
