An alleged trespassing dispute led to the death of a Union Township boy Sunday when he was reportedly shot by a neighbor. Larry Mugrage, 15, was killed after being shot by 66-year-old Charles Martin after Martin said that the boy stepped into his suburban Union Township yard.

Another step has been taken in the creation of an upscale office park in Union Township with the approval by the Union Township Trustees of the first phase of construction.
Road closed after sighting of suspected pipe bombs
Over two hours of a closure on a busy Clermont County side-road was the result of an apparent motion picture and poor housekeeping, said Lt. Steve Rogers of the Miami Township Police Department. After three hours of investigation, the department was able to reopen a stretch of state Route 50 between Milford and Owensville that had been closed due to a reported bomb scare.
