Another step has been taken in the creation of an upscale office park in Union Township with the approval by the Union Township Trustees of the first phase of construction. At nearly 100 acres, the park is touted to be an innovative and attractive economic stimulus for the county, which recently weathered the announcement that the Ford Transmission Plant in Batavia may close in two years.

The latest move, completed at the March 14 meeting of the trustees, approved the first phase of the development which will be located on the original parcel of land purchased for the park in mid January.
