Bethel honors five men who opted to join Army recently

The Bethel Village Council meeting on March 13 began with a packed crowd of residents who gathered in the council chambers to witness their loved ones being recognized by the village for their decision to join the army and defend the United States. Dozens of residents voiced their support as five young men from Bethel received certificates from Bethel Mayor David Simpson, as well as a symbolic key to the city for their dedication to home and country.

Five Bethel men were recently honored by the village of Bethel for their choice to enter the Army. They are, from left, Ryan Petrey; Jimmy Ryan; Joeseph Limpus; Travis Newberry; and Jeremy Alsept.
