The Batavia Township Board of Trustees administered some light housework March 7, tying up a few loose ends and making preparations for a few upcoming events of importance to the township. Plans are being formed to take advantage of the upcoming Clermont County Home Show, and the trustees are also looking to throw a memorable bash at the opening ceremony of their new township hall.

Rex Parsons, Batavia Township Administrator, advised the trustees that the township will be occupying a spot in the garage of the first house in the home show, which he said that the show organizers expect to draw 10,000 visitors to. The home show, which will be held in the Fox Pointe development on Clough Pike May 13-28, will feature several custom-built homes designed to wow the potential homebuyer. The houses will eventually be sold as residences.
