While owner negligence was in-part to blame for a series of car break-ins over the past few weeks in Miami Township, neighbor vigilance was responsible for catching the thieves in the act on Feb. 2. According to Detective Nick Colliver of the Miami Township Police Department, two males, Joseph M. Isaacs, 18, of Cincinnati, and a juvenile were caught in the Signal Hill Subdivision after a short foot chase. They are being charged with multiple counts of felony theft.
