Milford schools hope to avoid cutbacks

Milford Schools Superintendent John Frye has begun to outline more clearly where possible cuts may be made should an upcoming operating levy not be passed by voters. The vote will be held on May 2 for the 7.9 mill levy which, if passed, would cost the owner of a $100,000 home $242 a year. Valerie Miller, Communications Coordinator for Milford Schools, said that the levy is vital for the schools.
