Edward Warren Marks Sr., 84
Edward Warren Marks Sr., 84, of Hamersville, died Feb. 4, 2006. He was born Sept. 18, 1921, the son of the late William Edward and Ina Mae (Carter) Marks.
He served in the Army Corps of Engineers during World War II where he fought for five years and earned four Bronze Stars. He was a Machinist for General Electric. He was a member of the American Legion Courts-Fussnecker Post #0367.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie Mae (Black) Marks.
He is survived by friend, Ruth Caufman; four sons, Edward, John, Daniel, Steven; nine grandchildren; and 11 great grand children.
Services will be held Feb. 9, 2006 at the Kennedy-Stevens Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Confidence Cemetery, concluding with full military honors.
