New senior center opens in Williamsburg
During the Williamsburg village council meeting Jan. 26, Mayor Mary Ann Lefker announced that a new senior center has just opened its doors for business in the village of Williamsburg. During her regular report, Lefker said that the center recently held a ceremony for its grand opening which drew approximately 75 people in attendance, making the event a huge success. The large turnout was encouraging to village officials who anticipate further success for the new facility.
The new center is located at 119 North Third Street in downtown Williamsburg. It will be open four days per week. The creation of the new senior center will allow Clermont County Senior Services to expand its amenities at other centers which provide care for those seniors who are inactive and require unique services.
