Daniel Jack Mays, 62, of Batavia, died Jan. 6, 2006 at Meadow Wood Care Center surrounded by his loving family to be with his Savior.

Mays was born Sept. 10, 1943 in Batavia, the son of the late Adna Wayne and Sally Jane May Murphy Mays. He graduated from Batavia High School in 1959. He grew up working for his grandparents in plumbing and construction Work. On Nov. 4, 1961 he married Louise Morgan and to this union 10 children were born.
