The Bethel Police Department has now managed to cover all shifts with a full-time officer, said Councilwoman Donna Gunn during the Jan. 9 meeting. With the hiring of Officer Christopher Allen, the department is now staffed to the point that they can make sure every hour of the day has an officer on duty.
