With winter establishing itself with temperatures far lower than in previous years, household budgets are feeling the strain of high energy costs, especially for fossil fuels.
Faced with the dilemma of high bills and the health risks associated with living in frigid temperatures, many local families may have to seek assistance to keep themselves warm this winter.
