Batavia Township considers zoning text amendments

As part of an upcoming series of text amendments to the Batavia Township zoning codes, the trustees voted Jan. 3 to approve a hike in single-family home permit fees and to create a fee for fencing. While the fee hike from $150 to $200 for single-family homes was approved without debate, the move to create a fence permit fee was questioned.
