Zach Strief, a graduate of Milford High School, was recently named as a first team All-American by the Football Writers Association of America. The 6-foot, 7-inch, 335 pounder is in his fourth season as a starter on the Northwestern University (NU) offensive line.

The first Northwestern lineman to earn first-team All-American honors since 1982, Strief also earned recognition as a consensus second-team All-Big Ten and (Sports Illustrated) honorable mention All-American.
