John I. Kercsi, Jr., 81, of Milford, died on Dec. 31, 2005. He was born on March 30, 1924, the son of the late Elizabeth and John Kercsi Sr.
He was an Armed Guard Gunner in the U.S. Navy from 1943 to 1946. He was an over the road truck driver for Howard Sober, Inc.
He is survived by wife Catherine, daughters, Deborah, Janet, Michele, grandchildren, Catherine, Ashley, Michael, Alison, Matthew, Parissa, great grandchild, Alex.
Services were held Jan. 4, 2005 at St. Andrew Church in Milford. Interment was followed at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
Memorials can be made to St. Andrew Church in Milford.
