Gracie E. Hankins, 87, of Milford died on Dec. 6, 2005. She was born Dec. 26, 1917, daughter of the late Stella Cox Tichenor and Herbert Tichenor.

She is preceded by her mother and father, husband Ernest, daughter Martha Jane, son Garry, brother Melbourne Dee, and sisters Bonnie Stubblefield, Mary Neal Gillott, and Norine Tichenor.

She is survived by sons Ernest and Larry, daughters Norine, Joyce, Judith, and Carol, 24 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.

Services were held Dec. 10 at Milford Church of Christ. Interment will be held at Graceland Memorial Gardens.

Memorials can be made to the Vista Care Foundation.
