Paris A. Sawyer, 85, of Union Township, died on Dec. 1, 2005. He was a WWII veteran.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Sawyer; a daughter, Tomye Stirneman; and a granddaughter, Kelly Osborn.

He is survived by his children Dianne Epstein and Jack Sawyer; seven grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Services were held on Dec. 5 at Christ Presbyterian Church in Milford. Burial followed in the Graceland Memorial Gardens.
