Amelia, Glen Este, Goshen, and New Richmond began the 2005-06 Clermont County varsity boys basketball season as winners.

Amelia opened at the barony with a 62-47 victory over Clermont Northeastern. The Barons were in the lead at each stop 12-8, 25-20, and 42-26. Amelia
