Mail carrier dies in accident
A tragic single-car accident Tuesday killed the second Clermont County US postal worker in as many weeks. Taken in the accident was Williamsburg resident Gary Bainum, 55, who died when his 1993 Jeep Cherokee overturned in a curve near the bottom of a steep hill on Greenbriar Road. Bainum was making his daily delivery for the post office when the accident happened.
Felicity school board race high on participation, low on openings
Felicity Franklin School District residents will face a crowded field of choices for school board next week, with seven candidates each seeking to earn one of the three open seats in the election. Of the seven, only one boasts the title of incumbent, leaving the other six with the burden of making themselves known to the voters before election time.
