The 2005 class of the Bethel -Tate High School Sports Hall of Fame was chosen Wednesday, Nov. 16.

Bill Pride (BTHS class of 1975) was a Clermont County League (CCL) all-star in cross country (four years) and track and field (three years). He was also a state qualifier in both sports.

As a junior, Pride was 19th in the state cross country championships with a time of 10-minutes and 43-seconds. As a team Bethel was fourth in Class A on Nov. 13, 1971. Teammate Gary Vipperman, already in the Tiger Hall of Fame was state champion and another teammate, Don Williams, was 14th.

As a senior, Pride improved to seventh place in a time of 10:30 and the team upped itself to third place in Class A. Vipperman was third overall.
