Action sought to combat childhood obesity

Child Focus hosted a discussion group Nov. 18 to discuss the issue of childhood obesity. The lunchtime discussion, the fourth in a series of five to be held in the greater Cincinnati area, is part of a fact-gathering mission to find ways to combat the trend that is affecting more and more children every year.

John Zurick, of ZQI, Inc., said that he became involved after reading about childhood obesity, and decided to use his company as a planning resource to develop preventative strategies.
