Charles W. Wright Jr., formerly of Amelia, died on Nov. 2, 2005. He was a WWII veteran of the US Army Air Corp.

He was preceded in death by a wife, Ruby Wright; and a step son, Preston Sanderson.

He is survived by a wife, Reba Wright; children Louis and Ronald Wright; step children Raleigh Sanderson and Bob Poston; siblings Norman Wright and Leona Brown; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Services were held on Nov. 19 at the E.C. Nurre Funeral Home in Amelia.

Burial followed in the Lucy Run Cemetery.
