While the West Clermont Schools bond issue was defeated only narrowly, the margin was wide enough to send the message that several hundred more residents of the district who voted Tuesday were unwilling to provide additional funding for school building projects. Unofficial results showed the West Clermont levy to have failed 7,336 to 6,519.
