Mental health recovery efforts in the county appear to be in danger of being hampered in the near future after the failure of a tax levy renewal in the Nov. election. The .7 mill renewal, a .2 mill increase, would go a long way towards offsetting funding losses from other sources, such as state and federal monies, that Karen Scherra, Executive Director of the Clermont County Mental Health and Recovery Board said has been drying up for some time.
The final unofficial tally showed the levy failed 25,837 to 14,247.
