Joseph Lane Pierson, 78, of Williamsburg, died on Nov. 5, 2005. He was born on Oct. 24, 1927, the son of the late Alexander and Mamie Pierson.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Pierson.

He is survived by daughters Lorie Pierson, Linda Foerster and Nikki Bennett; a son, Joseph Pierson; a sister, Elaine Elsten; 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Services were held on Nov. 8, 2005, at Evans Funeral Home in Milford. Burial followed in the Graceland Memorial Gardens.
