Charles E. Kestel, 79
Charles E. Kestel, 79, of Bethel, Ohio, died Oct. 22 at his residence in Bethel. He was born Aug. 27, 1926 in Georgetown, Ohio, the son of the late Edward M and Lena (Rush) Kestel.
On May 5, 1948, he married Roselyn Painter. He was a self-employed plumber and electrician.
He was also a member of Masonic Lodge in Georgetown and a US Army veteran serving in WWII.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Charles A. Kestel.
He is survived by his wife, Roselyn; two daughters, Lu Anne Alcorn and husband William, and Susan Leslie Kestel, all of Eastgate, Ohio; two sons, Anthony Wayne Kestel of Eastgate, Ohio and Bradly Stuart Kestel and wife Mary Beth, of Georgetown, Ohio.
He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held Oct. 27 at the Tate Cemetery in Bethel, concluding in full military honors.
