Glen Este continues to reign over Clermont County high school varsity football and Goshen and New Richmond have now emerged with winning records following action on a very wet, chilly Friday night.
Glen Este (8-1) once again easily throttled arch-rival Amelia (0-9) in the Fort Ancient Valley Conference Buckeye Division. This time the host Trojans won 42-0.
The Purple and White poured out to leads of 27-0, 34-0, and 34-0. Seven Trojans tallied touchdowns
The Glen Este defensive unit has been extremely strong all season. The members are, front row from left, Matt Winegardner, Shane Cox, Ryan Schmidt, Adam Chambers, Eric LeDow; back row, Steven Wilson, Shawn Talbott, Cory Slater, Josh Godfrey, Chris Perry, and Jerrick Boykin.
