CNE unbeaten; Rockets and Bulldogs net titles

Clermont Northeastern and Batavia continue to dominate in their respective Southern Buckeye Conference division races in varsity volleyball. Felicity, Goshen, Glen Este, and Williamsburg have been earning victories of late, too.

Clermont Northeastern: The Rockets conquered Blanchester 25-13, 25-18, 25-13, Batavia 25-16, 25-9, 25-11, East Clinton 25-16, 25-20, 25-9, North Adams 25-1, 25-9, 25-10, Williamsburg 25-12, 25-17, 25-16, New Richmond 25-4, 25-13, 25-12, and in a triangular at Norwood, Indian Hill 25-16, 25-21 and the host Indians 25-9, 25-14.

Batavia: The Bulldogs outdid Western Brown 25-14, 25-10, 23-25, 27-25, Bethel 25-9, 25-12, 25-19, Goshen 25-12, 25-22, 25-20, New Richmond 25-16, 25-10, 25-16, and Georgetown 14-25, 25-9, 25-14, 25-16. They won both ends of a tri-meet at Summit sinking Saint Bernard 27-25, 25-16 and the host Silver Knights 25-23, 25-19.

Felicity: The Cardinals have triumphed in two recent battles. Bethel was bopped 25-11, 10-25, 25-13 (fourth game score unknown) as was New Richmond 25-27, 25-15, 25-22, 20-25, 15-6.

Glen Este: The Trojans have been breaking even lately. They defeated Mount Healthy 25-11, 25-15, 25-9 and Amelia (no score reported). Losses came against Kings 22-25, 25-15, 25-16, 25-16 and Mason 25-6, 25-15, 25-13.

Goshen: The Warriors mastered Blanchester 25-18, 15-25, 21-25, 25-19, 15-7, Williamsburg (twice) 25-5, 25-12, 25-20, and 17-25, 25-21, 25-20, 31-29, and East Clinton 16-25, 25-23, 26-24, 18-25, 15-13. Setbacks came opposite Georgetown 25-20, 15-15, 25-16, 25-23 and Little Miami 25-20, 25-23, 25-12.

Williamsburg: The Wildcats took the measure of New Richmond 25-12, 25-19, 25-23 and Amelia 25-16, 25-14, 17-25, 25-14.

Milford: The E-Gals earned a win over Fairfield 22-25, 25-15, 18-25, 25-13, 25-11. The losses were before Lakota West 25-6, 25-17, 25-15, Oak Hills 25-19, 25-21, 25-12, Lakota East 25-22, 22-25, 25-23, 25-16, and Kings 29-27, 22-25, 25-17, 25-12.

Milford Christian: The Bulldogs were overcome by Cincinnati Christian 25-17, 25-16, 21-25, and 25-19.

Amelia: The Barons were lambasted by Loveland 25-15, 25-11, 25-12.

Bethel: The Tigers were trounced by Western Brown 25-16, 25-12, 25-10.

New Richmond: The Lions hosted a tri-meet. The Red and Black lost to Goshen 25-15, 25-22 and Turpin 25-21, 25-8 and Goshen lost to Turpin, too, 25-10, 25-12.
