Chilo dock to be renovated

Nestled between state Route 222 and the Ohio River is Chilo Lock #34 Park. The park is surrounded by trees, keeping it secluded at the end of a curvy road.
Located at the park is a newly remodeled visitor
Clermont County Park District Director Chris Clingman stands on the current dock located at Chilo Lock #34 Park. A grant from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources will be used to improve the boat launching ramp and to build two new docks along with a 100-foot courtesy dock. The project is expected to be completed by fall 2006.
