The residents of Batavia will have five choices this November in the election for four open village council seats.
Kathy Turner, 60, a homemaker with three grown children, said that her interest and devotion to running the village have been augmented by 12 years of service on the council already. Turner said that she would like to continue working on projects that she has participated in for years.
