Nearly 3,000 cars entered in Pumpkin Run car show

The sea of freshly polished vehicles filling the Clermont County Fairgrounds last weekend displayed a kaleidoscope of shimmering colors and shiny chrome.
Each of the 2,879 cars and trucks exuded the meticulous care and detailed work spent making the vehicle a source of pride and conversation for its owner.
The 2005 Fastiques Pumpkin Run, one of the last national antique car shows of the year, went very smoothly and was lots of fun, according to Pumpkin Run spokesman John Walters.
Caleb Cox, 5, of Mt. Orab stands in front of a 1965 Impala Super Convertible that he works on with his grandfather. Caleb went to the Fastiques Pumpkin Run with his father and grandfather.
