The Dewey Decimal System to computer-based archives.

Typewriters to word processors.

VHS to DVD.

Tape to CD.

Those are just some of the major changes libraries around the world have adapted to, and the Clermont County Public Library is no exception.

For 50 years the Clermont County Public Library has been serving the community with up-to-date resources, technology and information, and on Monday those five decades were honored with a party.

Library officials and employees, community leaders and patrons were invited to the celebration that was held at the Armory in Batavia.
