A rally to support the U.S. troops who are currently serving their country was held in front of the courthouse in Batavia Sept 22. The rally was organized by Clermont Commissioner Bob Proud.
Proud said that it was important for the country to continue to demonstrate the same level of support to the troops as was shown earlier in the war in Iraq.
The Marine Corps Leatherneck detachment 393 color guard stands at attention as Robert Reed plays the bag pipes at the rally for the troops in Batavia Sept. 22.
