Clermont County has received and is preparing to implement new voting machines at upcoming elections, all due to the Help America Vote Act that was enacted after the debacle of chads in the 2000 presidential election.
The new system, which will implement optical scan ballots similar to those already used in Clermont County, will help voters to cast their votes correctly.
