Ayers remains focused on continuing professional football career
Nick Ayers remains hopeful of continuing his stellar football career.
The former Cincinnati Bengal free agent and a collegiate all-American at Georgetown (Ky.) College may soon be heading to Chicago (September 10) for an opportunity to play professional football.
The 1999 Glen Este High School graduate may become a member of the Chicago Rush, a member of the professional Arena One Indoor Football League. Owned by the legendary National Football League Hall of Fame member Mike Ditka of Chicago Bears fame, the Rush, a perenial playoff qualifier, is a member of a league that includes franchises in Arizona, Buffalo, Carolina, Colorado, Dallas, Detroit, Georgia, Grand Rapids, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York City, Orlanda, San Jose, and Tampa Bay.
