Overdose death leads to sibling

A drug overdose has resulted in the death of one woman and the possible 10-year imprisonment of her sister, according to the Miami Township Police Department.

According to a release from the department, the death of Clara Yoder, 30, on May 13, has resulted in an indictment against her sister Caroline Scott, 40, of involuntary manslaughter.

Scott, who remains in custody, could face a maximum of 10 years in jail and/or a fine of up to $20,000 if convicted of the first degree felony. The indictment by the Clermont County grand jury was handed down on Aug. 24.
