Mark Trout is the new athletic director at Milford High School. He replaces Hank Ohnmeis who resigned recently.

Trout is an excellent fit for the success of the Eagle athletic department since he has years of experience and familiarity with the program. He has taught at the high school for 12 years, five of those he served as the chairman of the mathematics department. He was chosen as the Milford High School Teacher of the Year in 2000.

Trout is a graduate of Talawanda High School where he played soccer and basketball and continued his soccer career at Ohio Northern University.

His coaching experience is superb. Last year he led the varsity boys soccer team to the Greater Miami Conference (GMC) championship and along the way earned the GMC and Southwest Ohio Coaches Association coach of the year honors in addition to being the coach of the East team in the Greater Cincinnati all-star game.

Trout has coached at about all levels in boys basketball where he has led the Eagles to some conference crowns. He has had a goal to become an athletic director, but he did not expect the opportunity to arise so early in his career. This works into his life very well considering he earned a master
