The Amelia Village Police are putting out an emergency call to village residents for backup on the November ballot in the form of an operating levy that is hoped to allow the department to not only continue operating, but bring the force up to the state of readiness warranted by the growing population.

New voting machines to be used this year
Clermont County has received and is preparing to implement new voting machines at upcoming elections, all due to the Help America Vote Act that was enacted after the debacle of chads in the 2000 presidential election.
Pumpkin Run Nationals kicks off 30th annual show
Twenty-five years or older is the required age to be entered in the 30th annual Fastiques Pumpkin Run Nationals. The cars, that is, must be at least 25 years old, having been made in 1970 or prior.
