As the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center prompted the US government to take a hard look at homeland security and how local authorities could better protect all citizens, first responders began to find ways to integrate safety from attacks by man with safety from attacks by nature.

Combining it all into a comprehensive safety program designed to prepare everyone for any type of disaster, the role of all US citizens in helping to prevent disaster from occurring has become more complicated.

During the Clermont County Fair, an expo on homeland security will, hopefully, answer some questions as to how everyone can help make their neighborhoods a safer place to live.
