Aspiring players hear from special speakers

Bethel-Tate head boys basketball coach Mike Jennings recently held his first Bethel-Tate Tiger Basketball Camp. Approximately 30 campers took part.

The camp coaches were Tim Swart, Dom Giordano, Brad Felix, Trevor Gould, Jarett Young, Jeff Essig, Jerry Underwood, and Eddie Dryer.

The guest speakers were Felix, former Bethel-Tate cage all-star; Underwood, Georgetown (Ohio) head boys cage coach; Dryer, Defiance College assistant cage coach; Adam Szabo, Bethel-Tate head football coach; and John Copas, teacher/coach/motivational speaker.

The campers who won special awards were Daniel Patrick and Jacob McKinney (Hot Shots), Joseph Smith and Matt Fancher (Free Throw), Patrick, Ashton Hutchinson, and Brandon Phillips (3-on 3), Tyler White (Tiger Award), and Anthony Young (Camper of the Week).
