Bethel council recognizes youth for success in GED program

The Bethel Village Council recognized a youth success story from the Bethel Adult/Youth Recreation Committee at the June 27 meeting. Shawn Miller, 19, of Bethel, was invited by Mayor David Simpson to the meeting to stand up and represent the goal of the committee, which is giving the youth of Bethel an avenue to a better life.
